Ronnie Scott’s Charitable Foundation:
Founded in 2015, the Ronnie Scott’s Charitable Foundation is a non-profit organisation dedicated to making music education - especially jazz - accessible to children and young people across the UK and beyond. Inspired by the legacy of the club itself, the Foundation supports grassroots initiatives, funds youth music programmes, and donates musical instruments through its bi-annual Musical Instrument Amnesty. Its outreach includes free workshops, performance opportunities, and mentoring sessions designed to empower the next generation of musicians, particularly those from under-resourced communities.
The charity organises a number of workshops at Ronnie’s with young people aimed at promoting and fostering live jazz performance and music education in general. All of our workshops are free to attend and specifically aimed at helping and inspiring those young adults who do not have access to music education.
